Baristas have a secret they’re not telling you… they drink 7-ELEVEn coffee. In this Cannes Bronze Lion Award-winning campaign, we rewarded the baristas who make us our morning coffee by treating them to free coffee on their way to work.
We went toe-to-toe with legal to see just how far we could get in referencing competitor brands in order to make something truly breakthrough.
My role: creative concepting, copywriting
It started with a simple statement from Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase: “7-ELEVEn, that’s all I gotta say… I’m always fuckin open.”
Thus was born our ongoing Always Open campaign: a celebration of wide receivers at all levels of football who are #AlwaysOpen.
The campaign includes social content on Twitter and Instagram, earned media through PR mailers, constant community management, an online apparel collection, and partnership with Ja’Marr and other footballers.
